Grandma Michaels Sugar Cookies

This is one of My Dad's favorite Cookie recipe. that his Mother used to make, when he was a child gowning up. it's from around 1930 or so.
Ingredients
- 2 cups brown sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 tsp soda shopping list
- 2 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 cup buttermilk shopping list
- 1/2 cup Crisco shopping list
- 5 cups flour shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- cream sugar eggs and Crisco
- Combine flour. soda,and baking powders
- Add flour and buttermilk slowly to sugar mixture to make a soft dough
- Roll out approximately 1/4 inch thick Cut out cookies with glass or
- cookie cutter.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 350 degrees
