How to make it

  • Blend butter, sugar, vanilla, flour, salt and baking powder until crumbly.
  • Press into a greased 7x11 inch pan.
  • Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and spread with raspberry jam.
  • Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  • Make crumb topping by mixing 1 cup of flour, 1/2 cup of sugar, soft butter, walnuts and vanilla.
  • Pour topping over chocolate chips.
  • Return to oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Allow to cool and cut.
