Pork Chops With Cabbage And Tomato Recipe
These are tender,flavorful chops.Tomato and sweet red pepper make them a feast for your eyes and stomach.

Ingredients
  • 2 boneless pork loin chops(4oz.ea)
  • 1/4tsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion,chopped
  • 1/2c chopped sweet red peper
  • 1c shredded cabbage
  • 1 small tomato,chopped
  • 1/3c reduced-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/8 to1/4tsp pepper
  • 1/8tsp salt
  • 1/8tsp paprika

Directions
  1. In a large non-stick skillet coated with cooking spray,brown chops..Remove and keep warm. In the same skillet,add oil,onion and red pepper. Cook 3 to 5 mins or till vegetables are tender. Stir in cabbage,tomato,broth,salt ,pepper and paprika.
  2. Return chops to pan. Reduce heat;cover and simmer 8 to 10 mins. or till thermometer reads 160 and vegetables are tender.

Two of my favorite foods, pork chop and cabbage so I'm loving this recipe!


Veryvery nice!! thank you too very very! lot of flavor and moistness. The roasted red peppers in jars are my mainstay for red and flavorful until my tomatoes are in season. And cabbage? All winter I buy regularly --the pesticide meter is on the very low side. I'm addicted to purple-red cabbage too. your recpe is a keeper!! 55555
