Ingredients
  • 125g 1/2cup 1stick butter (room temp)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1egg (room temp)
  • 1tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups corn starch
  • 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 4tbsp cocoa

Directions
  1. Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy
  2. then add vanilla and egg
  3. add the corn starch and mix with your hands
  4. slowly add the flour and baking powder (sieved together)
  5. knead till you have soft dough
  6. let stand for 5 min.
  7. make chestnut sized balls
  8. place on parchment paper on an oven tray and arrange them on it
  9. place cocoa in a saucer and put 1 tbsp water in another saucer
  10. with a small bottle (or similar)
  11. dip rim of bottle into water and then into cocoa and gently press on to top of cookies
  12. wipe rim of bottle every 3-4 times
  13. preheat oven to 375 F (190 C) and bake for about 25min
  14. let cool on parchment for 5-10 min or until cookies come away easily.
