Catfish Hoagies

- 4 catfish filets, the size of your hand shopping list
- fish Fry shopping list
- egg batter (made with 1 beaten egg and about 3/4-cup milk with salt and pepper added to taste) shopping list
- peanut oil shopping list
- 4 hoagie rolls shopping list
- Mayo shopping list
- monterey jack cheese with Jalapanos (4-oz) shredded shopping list
- Deli coleslaw - small shopping list
- louisiana hot sauce shopping list
- pepperocinis shopping list
How to make it
- Heat peanut oil in deep fryer (or deep frying pan) to float fish.
- When you can drop a small drip of water in and it sizzles it's ready to fry the fish.
- Fry fish for barely three minutes per side.
- It will float when it is done.
- Do not overbrown.
- Put mayo on each roll.
- Top with fillet, shredded cheese, coleslaw, pepperocinis and hot sauce (just a shake or two).
