Tuscan-Style Sausage and White Bean Soup

- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped onion shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped shopping list
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 can (12 fluid ounces) Nestlé Carnation Evaporated Milk shopping list
- 1 can (14.5 fluid ounces) chicken broth shopping list
- 1/2 to 1 pound mild Italian sausage, cooked and drained shopping list
- 1 can (15.5 ounces) cannellini (white kidney beans), undrained shopping list
- salt shopping list
- ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- MELT butter in medium saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; cook, stirring occasionally, 1 to 2 minutes or until onion is tender. Stir in flour. Gradually stir in evaporated milk and broth. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Add sausage and beans. Heat through. Season to taste with salt and ground black pepper.

Just Made This For Lunch. Added Some Fresh Chopped Parsley and Cilantro, Finely Chopped Carrots & Diced Potatoes...Incredible! The Flour & Evaporated Milk Made This Soup Very Rich & Creamy. Great Post Otter.
