Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef or ground turkey or sausage, or a mixture
  • 1 Tbs dried onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 3 1/2 cups water
  • 1- 15 oz can tomato sauce
  • 6 oz uncooked spaghetti noodles
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions
  1. Brown meat in a large saucepan that has a lid
  2. Stir in all the seasonings, the water and tomato sauce
  3. Turn to high and bring to a boil
  4. Break in raw spaghetti noodles
  5. Turn heat to low, cover, simmer 30 minutes
  6. Stir often, check for desired doneness - it might not take 30 minutes
  7. Remove from heat, stir in cheese until all incorporated.
  8. We always make garlic toast from hot dogs buns to soak up the sauce, we also have green beans and corn with this, but a salad would be ideal.
