Ingredients
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 Rose wine (something you would drink)
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 10 oz package frozen sliced strawberries, thawed
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream, whipped
  • 1 baked 9 in pie shell

Directions
  1. Sprinkle gelatin over the wine in a double boiler. Let stand for several minutes to soften. Heat until gelatin dissolves, stiring constantly.
  2. Stir in lemon juice.
  3. Chill until partially set.
  4. Stir in strawberries.
  5. Beat egg whites with salt and sugar in a bowl until stiff peaks form.
  6. Fold in whipped cream and strawberry mixture.
  7. Chill until mixture mounds on spoon.
  8. Pour into pie shell.
  9. Chill for 2 hours or until firm.
  10. ENJOY
