LEMON GARLIC CHICKEN This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Butler Estate in Irving, Texas in 1988.

Ingredients
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1/8 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 4 chicken breasts skin removed halved and boned

Directions
  1. Put first 6 ingredients into small bowl and mix well.
  2. Brush over boneless breasts then allow to stand at room temperature 30 minutes.
  3. Cook on greased grill over medium high heat turning now and then for a total of 15 minutes.
