How to make it

  • Cook bacon until crisp., Transfer to a plate. Add mushrooms and saute with moderate heat, for 5 minutes, until softened.
  • In a food processor, add the bacon, mushrooms, and cream cheese. (I think I would put some pimento in too) Process until smooth. Pile into small pots to serve. Refrigerate 30 minutes before serving.
  • Little baskets of breads, crackers and little pots of this rich spread.

    I bet U.S. bacon would be good in the recipe too!

    sounds good... to the beat of my knowledge a rasher of bacon is a strip of bacon so your recipe calls for 4 strips of bacon.... I hope that helps...
