Bacon and Mushroom Pate

- 4 rashers rindless bacon, finely chopped shopping list
- 250 g / 8 oz. brown mushrooms shopping list
- 250 g/8 oz. cream cheese shopping list
- garnish possibilities: chopped pimento, bacon, or a mushroom! shopping list
- crostini shopping list
- crackers shopping list
- pita triangles shopping list
How to make it
- Cook bacon until crisp., Transfer to a plate. Add mushrooms and saute with moderate heat, for 5 minutes, until softened.
- In a food processor, add the bacon, mushrooms, and cream cheese. (I think I would put some pimento in too) Process until smooth. Pile into small pots to serve. Refrigerate 30 minutes before serving.
- Little baskets of breads, crackers and little pots of this rich spread.
