- 1 1/4 cup flour shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla ( try 1 teaspoon almond extract) shopping list
- 1/2 cup infant cereal ( Gerber or Natures Choice, barley, rice, oat, or mixed) shopping list
How to make it
- Cream butter and sugar together.
- Beat in egg and flavoring until fluffy.
- Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
- Stir dry ingredients and cereal into creamed mixture.
- Chill thoroughly.
- Roll level tablespoons into balls and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
- Flatten with bottom of moistened glass dipped in sugar.
- Bake for 8 minutes in oven preheated to 375 degrees F.
- Remove from cookie sheet and cool completely on racks before storing in an airtight container or zip-lock bags.

Wow, this sounds good, healthy and definitely tasty- especially with the almond extract. Being diabetic, also love the very low sugar content. Thanks for a great post!
