Chicken Green chili cream soup

- 1 whole cooked rotisserie chicken from supermarket shopping list
- 3 cups water shopping list
- 1 8 oz package cream cheese shopping list
- 1 pint half and half shopping list
- 1 14 oz package frozen chopped green chiles, thawed. shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Remove all meat from chicken and shred or cut into bite-size pieces.
- Combine water, cream cheese, half and half, and green chiles in a large saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring continuously until mixture is smooth and creamy. Take care that liquid does not scald or burn.
- Stir in chicken and simmer, stirring often, until flavors are combined and chicken is warmed through, 15 to 20 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
