- 2-1/2 Cups flour,sifted shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 Cup lard shopping list
- 1 Farm Fresh egg,beaten shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon vinegar shopping list
- Cold water shopping list
How to make it
- Cut the lard into the flour and salt.
- Beat the egg in a 1-1/2 cup measureing cup,add vinegar and fill cup with cold water.
- Adding enough of this to the flour to make a dough that will hold together in a ball.
- Make sure not to handle the dough with warm hands to much.
- Roll out,line pan,pour whatever you like in for the filling,cover with more pastry,fuss a bit with the crimping,place in oven bake.
