Fried Stuffed Prawns

- Large prawns - 8 shopping list
- onion - 1 large shopping list
- green chillies - 2 to 3 shopping list
- ginger - 3 cm shopping list
- garam masala - 1 tsp (http://www.greatfood.ie/item_display.asp?cde=8&id=898) shopping list
- pepper powder -1½ tsp shopping list
- egg and breadcrumbs to coat shopping list
- oil to deep fry shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Clean the prawns and slit them along the back, keeping them attached at the other side(like butterfly prawns).
- Grind onion, ginger, green chillies together to a paste (do not add water).
- Mix in garam masala and pepper powder. Add salt.
- Fill the prawns with this paste. Smear remaining paste (if any) on the out side.
- Roll the prawns in breadcrumbs to make the paste stick.
- Dip in beaten egg and roll in breadcrumbs again.
- Deep fry in hot oil till golden.
- Serve hot.
