How to make it

  • Combine the wine and sugar in a large pan,bring to boil,lower heat and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • Stir in cloves,nutmeg,cinnamon and orange zest,remove pan from heat to cool.
  • Place steaks in a large container,pour marinade over them,marinate steaks in refrigerator for a few hours (or) up to three days.
  • Take steaks out of marinade,season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook them in a VERY HOT Skillet,about 2 minutes on each side for medium rare.
  • Slice the meat about 1/4" thick and serve.
  • Note: If you decide to prepare these steaks in a hot skillet,open the windows,this generates a tremendous amount of smoke.
  • Enjoy.
