Cajun Seafood Jambalaya

- Cajun seafood Jambalaya shopping list
- 1 pound smoked sausage sliced shopping list
- 1 pound lean ham diced shopping list
- 4 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1 cup chopped white onion shopping list
- 1 cup chopped celery shopping list
- 1 cup chopped bell pepper shopping list
- 3/4 cup chopped green onions shopping list
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic shopping list
- 2 teaspoons Creole type seasoning shopping list
- 2-3/4 cups chicken stock shopping list
- 16 ounce can tomatoes shopping list
- 1 can tomatoes with green chilies with juice shopping list
- 2-1/2 cups uncooked rice shopping list
- 1 pound crawfish tails shopping list
How to make it
- In a Dutch oven sauté sausage and ham until it begins to brown.
- Add butter, chopped vegetables and garlic and sauté until soft stirring often.
- Stir in seasonings, stock and tomatoes and bring to boil.
- Add rice stirring well.
- Add seafood and stir well.
- Reduce heat to low then cover and cook until rice is done about 40 minutes.
