Company Casserole Recipe
From my Amish friends. They have large families and most of their recipes are fantastic.

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 2 8-oz. can tomato sauce
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 T chopped green pepper
  • 1T butter
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup chopped green onions (I use reg. onions for a substitute)
  • 1 8 oz box or lasagna noodles

Directions
  1. Brown crumbled ground beef in 1 T. butter.
  2. Remove from heat and add tomato sauce and salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Combine chopped onions with cheeses and sour cream.
  4. Cook Noodles about 8 minutes in boiling water.
  5. Drain and rinse.
  6. In large casserole dish which is well buttered, spread half of the noodles; cover with
  7. cheese mixture.
  8. Add remaining noodles and dot with 2 T. butter then cover with meat mixture.
  9. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
