Cheese Bread Sanibel

- 1 1/4 cup of milk shopping list
- 1 1/4 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1/4 cup warm water shopping list
- 1 pkge dry yeast shopping list
- 2 tablespoons of sugar shopping list
- 4 1/2 cups of sifted flour shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoon of salt shopping list
- 1/3 teaspoon of cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon of dry mustard shopping list
How to make it
- Heat milk and add grated cheese to soften.
- Cool mixture before proceeding.
- Put warm water in a large bowl, sprinkle yeast over top.
- Stir to dissolve, add sugar, cooled cheese mixture and flour sifted with salt, pepper and mustard.
- Place in greased bowl, cover with clean tea towel and let rise until double.
- PUnch down and let rise again.
- Grease 2 (4x8) loaf pans.
- Divide dough in half, shape and put inot pans.
- Let rise to top of pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until brown.
- Remove from pans and cool on wire rack.
- Brush with melted butter.
- makes two loaves.
