Ingredients
  • 1 pound dry spaghetti, your choice
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1 bottle clam juice
  • 15 ounces diced tomatoes
  • 4 can clams, drained (broth reserved!) and chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Crushed red pepper flakes to taste

Directions
  1. Bring a large filled with salted water to a boil for the pasta.
  2. Cook pasta according to package directions and drain.
  3. Meanwhile, heat a large skillet on medium heat.
  4. Add olive oil.
  5. Saute garlic in oil until golden.
  6. Add wine, bottled clam juice and 1 cup of reserved clam broth.
  7. Bring to a boil.
  8. Reduce heat and simmer until reduced by half, about 8 to 10 minutes.
  9. Add tomatoes and continue to simmer for 5 to 7 minutes.
  10. Add salt and red pepper flakes to taste.
  11. About a minute before pasta is finished cooking, add the chopped clams to the sauce and stir.
  12. Add drained pasta to sauce, toss and serve.

I love this dish....but I'm with you, I don't eat the clams themselves.


I dont like clams either but i know who does lol ill send it to them hahaha
