How to make it

  • Combine 3 parts soy sauce with one part hoisin sauce (or so!)
  • Add a bit of mustard and a dash of vinegar
  • Add minced garlic
  • Squeeze in the juice of one quarter of the lemon
  • Stir in olive oil
  • Pepper the salmon
  • Marinate the salmon in the mixture for around 45 min
  • Get a pan heated on med. to high heat
  • Cook the salmon about 2-3 minutes on both sides, be careful not to overcook
  • Serve topped with chopped scallions

    OOPS! I forget to put it in the ingredients. I used a sherry vinegar. Yeah the hoisin can overdue it, i was kind of guessing on the amounts. How did the tilapia turn out? Thanks for trying!

    Thank you for this great idea--since I have no salmon, and tilapia is in the freezer, even have scallions!! tonight's meal. thank you, very muchisimo!! It sounds delicious!! 555555 even before cooking!

    Did marinate the tilapia filet and a piece of salmon in your combo, except, what kind of vinegar did you use? I may cut back on the amt of hoisin next time. Very flavorful!
