How to make it

  • In a medium saucepan stir together frozen corn, bell pepper, water, onion, bouillon and pepper.
  • Bring to boiling then reduce heat and cover and simmer 5 minutes and do not drain.
  • In small mixing bowl stir together milk and cornmeal then stir into saucepan.
  • Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly then cook and stir 1 minute more.
  • Stir in dried beef or ham and heat through.
  • To serve ladle chowder into individual bowls and garnish with corn chips.
