How to make it

  • Core apples and dice into 1/4 inch pieces. Store in lemon juice and water.
  • Heat medium skillet. Add butter and heat til melted and sizzling.
  • Drain sliced apples. Place in skillet and cook for about 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Add the wine. Stir.
  • Add cinnamon, molasses, cherries and walnuts. Cook 2-3 minutes, or til apples are tender but NOT mushy.
  • Remove from heat. Cool in a container an refridgerate. Reheating as needed for Chicken, Pork or Beef.
