Flank Steak With Pineapple Chile Sauce Recipe
FLANK STEAK WITH PINEAPPLE CHILI SAUCE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Woods Estate in Canton, Texas in 1988.

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds flank steak
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 3/4 cup bottled chili sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 drops hot pepper sauce

Directions
  1. Season steak with salt and pepper then grill 10 minutes per side.
  2. Combine crushed pineapple, chili sauce, garlic powder and hot pepper sauce.
  3. Cook until heated through then slice steak across the grain in think slices.
  4. Serve steak with sauce and serve immediately.
