ORANGE TOPPED PORK CHOPS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Woods Estate in Canton, Texas in 1988.

Ingredients
  • 6 pork chops
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 11 ounce can mandarin oranges drained
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions
  1. Heat oil in skillet then brown chops on both sides.
  2. Top with oranges then sprinkle with cloves and pepper.
  3. Cover and cook over medium high heat until juices run clear.
