Botticellis Salad Dressing Recipe
Another goodie out of my much beloved cookbook, "Dining with Diane - The Austin Restaurant Cookbook." It's so yummy I just sat with a few breadsticks and ate it as a dip.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • juice of one lemon
  • 1/2 oz Worcestershire sauce; (1 tablespoon)
  • dash Tabasco sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • freshly cracked black pepper; to taste
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup olive oil

Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients together except the olive oil.
  2. While blending mixture with a beater, slowly add olive oil until oil is incorporated.
  3. Makes about 3 1/2 cups dressing.
