How to make it

  • Grind the Cacao Nibs in a coffee grinder to a coarse powder consistency - you may have to do it in batches if the grinder protests and dogs down.
  • Put the powdered nibs in a pot, add milk, add sucanat or agave nectar and slowly heat till just about boiling.
  • Pour steaming liquid into cups, add dash of cayenne or cinnamon.
  • Serve with a spoon and enjoy the chocolate overload.
  • You could add paprika powder into the pot while it's heating - this will release the scent of the paprika and add no heat - so it's great for someone who would be sensitive to the heat but still wants that variety of a spicy taste...
