Apple Dapple

- 1 cup water shopping list
- 3/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 5 large apples peeled and sliced (prefferably Granny Smith or other cooking apples) shopping list
- 1 T butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (you can use other nuts) shopping list
- 2 tsp cinnamon shopping list
How to make it
- Make simple syrup with water and sugar
- Boil down to 1/2 volume
- Add apples and nuts , reduce heat and cover and cook for 10 minutes, stir as needed
- Add cinnamon and cook the last 5 minutes or until syrup is absorbed
- Enjoy!
