Creamy Asian Shrimp

- 1/2 lb shrimp (21-25ct is ideal) shopping list
- 1 tbs dark soy sauce shopping list
- 1 tbs olive oil shopping list
- 1 tsp Ponzu sauce shopping list
- 1 tbs hoisin sauce shopping list
- 1/4 cup heavy cream shopping list
- 1/2 tsp black pepper shopping list
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder shopping list
- 1 tsp cumin powder shopping list
- 1 tbs butter shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic shopping list
How to make it
- Peel and devein the shrimp.
- In a 12" sautee pan (non-stick is preferred) sweat minced garlic cloves in the butter over medium-high heat
- In a medium bowl combine the soy, hoisin and ponzu sauces with the olive oil, garlic powder, cumin and black pepper. Add shrimp and toss to coat evenly
- Once garlic has completed its sweat empty contents of bowl into saucepand and cover. Cook for about 5 minutes until shrimp is cooked through
- Add heavy cream and stir to combine evenly. Let simmer for about 5 minutes uncovered to reduce sauce about 50%
