How to make it

  • Peel and devein the shrimp.
  • In a 12" sautee pan (non-stick is preferred) sweat minced garlic cloves in the butter over medium-high heat
  • In a medium bowl combine the soy, hoisin and ponzu sauces with the olive oil, garlic powder, cumin and black pepper. Add shrimp and toss to coat evenly
  • Once garlic has completed its sweat empty contents of bowl into saucepand and cover. Cook for about 5 minutes until shrimp is cooked through
  • Add heavy cream and stir to combine evenly. Let simmer for about 5 minutes uncovered to reduce sauce about 50%
