Brussels Sprouts with Walnuts and Mandarin Oranges

- 1 1/2 lb. fresh Brussels sprouts (I've used frozen) shopping list
- 1/2 cup olive oil shopping list
- 3 tbls. red wine vinegar shopping list
- 2 tbls. white wine shopping list
- Splash of worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1 tbls. Dijon mustard shopping list
- 2 tsp. sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. each of salt and pepper shopping list
- 2/3 cup walnuts, chopped and toasted shopping list
- 1/2 cup mandarin orange segments shopping list
How to make it
- Wash brussels sprouts and remove discolored leaves
- Cut off stem ends and cut a shallow x on bottom of sprout
- Add water and brussels sprouts to saucepan
- Cover and bring to boil
- Cover and reduce heat and simmer for 8-10 minutes or until tender
- (For frozen sprouts, cook according to package directions)
- Drain, put in serving dish and keep warm
- In saucepan, combine oil and next 6 ingredients
- Cook over medium heat until heated through
- Pour over brussels sprouts
- Sprinkle with walnuts and mandarin oranges
- Gently toss to combine
