Simple Stuffed Acorn Squash

- 2 acorn squash cut in half and seeded shopping list
- 1 cup of unsweetened applesauce shopping list
- 8 tsp of brown sugar shopping list
- sprinkle of salt shopping list
- 8 tsp of soft butter shopping list
- cinnamon shopping list
How to make it
- Place squash halves cut side down in shallow baking pan.
- Cover bottom with water.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 60 minutes until tender.
- Turn squash over.
- Fill each cavity with applesauce and sugar.
- Sprinkle with a scant amount of salt.
- Dot with butter.
- Sprinkle generously with cinnamon.
- Continue to bake until applesauce is bubbly.
- about another 10 minutes
- Even kids who dislike squash will like this dish.
