Spiced Pot Roast

- 2 pound boneless chuck roast shopping list
- 1 bay leaf shopping list
- 2 teaspoons salt shopping list
- 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 1/4 cup white vinegar shopping list
- 1/4 cup water shopping list
- 1 medium onion sliced shopping list
- 1 teaspoon whole peppercorns shopping list
How to make it
- Rub meat with salt and pepper and place in glass bowl.
- Add onion, bay leaf and whole peppercorns.
- Marinate meat in vinegar and water for 24 hours.
- Drain and reserve liquid then place meat in roasting pan and sear.
- Add 3 tablespoons spiced vinegar mixture.
- Cover and cook in slow oven for 1-1/2 hours.
