Beer BBQ Sauce

This is one of my favorite BBQ sauces. It tastes german (it might be). It's from the cookbook Cook-off America and was submitted at the Great Southern Food Festival. Great thanks to the person who invented this!
Ingredients
- 1/2c chopped onions shopping list
- 1T chopped garlic shopping list
- 1T oil (can use less or cooking spray) shopping list
- 4oz tomato paste shopping list
- 1c firmly packed brown sugar (can use substitute) shopping list
- 1/3c Dijon mustard shopping list
- 1t dry mustard shopping list
- 1Tsoy sauce shopping list
- 1/4c worchestershire sauce shopping list
- 1T hot pepper sauce shopping list
- 1/4c vinegar shopping list
- 1T lemon juice shopping list
- 1/2t pepper shopping list
- 1 bottle beer shopping list
How to make it
- Saute onions and garlic in oil. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer until well blended (20 minutes or so) and allow to cool. Marinate meat (any kind) overnight. Cook meet over hot grill while basting with marinade.
