How to make it

  • Peel, cut and core the apples and put them in a saucepan with little water and a tablespoon of sugar. Simmer for about 10 minutes till soft. Remove and drain any excess liquid.
  • Melt the butter in a saucepan on medium, add brown sugar and stir to dissolve. Remove from the heat and add cornflakes and stir to combine. Cover stewed apples with caramel cornflakes, let to cool. Serve with cream.
