Spicy Mayonnaise

- 2 cup mayonnaise shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup creme fraiche shopping list
- 5 tb chili sauce shopping list
- 1-2 tb grated horseradish, drained shopping list
- 3 tb chopped capers shopping list
- 5 tsp Tabasco sauce shopping list
- 4 tsp worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 3 tb fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 1/2 tsp curry sauce shopping list
- coarse salt and white pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Whisk the mayonnaise, creme fraiche, chili sauce, horseradish, capers, Tabasco sauce, Worcestershire, lemon juice, and curry powder together in a mixing bowl. Season with salt and white pepper. Taste and correct the seasonings.
- If you do not have creme fraiche on hand, you can substitute 1 1/4 cup sour cream and add another Tablespoon of lemon juice.
- Makes a nice spread for crispy calamari, or a fried fish sandwich, or poached halibut. If you have left overs, try it on a roast beef sandwich!
