Vanilla Rich Chip Cake

Pay attention to the 2nd word in the title of this recipe; rich! NOT a cake for those trying to lose weight, but if you're into sinful decadence & self-indulgent behavior, this is your dish!
Ingredients
- 1 pkg (18 1/4 oz) yellow cake mix. shopping list
- 1 pkg (3 1/2 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix shopping list
- 1 c sour cream shopping list
- 1/2 c vegetable oil shopping list
- 1/2 c water shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 1 T pure vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 c mini chocolate chips shopping list
- **vanilla butter Glaze** shopping list
- 3 T butter, melted shopping list
- 2 1/4 c confectioners' sugar shopping list
- 3 T water shopping list
- 1 1/2 t pure vanilla extract shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350º F.
- Beat all ingredients, except chips, in large bowl with mixer on low just to moisten. Beat on medium for a further 2 minutes.
- Stir in chips. Pour into greased and floured 12-c Bundt pan.
- Bake in 350º oven for 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Invert cake onto wire rack. Cool completely. Drizzle with Vanilla Butter Glaze (see below) or sprinkle with confectioners' sugar, if desired.
- **Vanilla Butter Glaze**
- Mix ingredients until smooth. Let stand 3 minutes or until thickened.
