How to make it

  • In a small mixing bowl, squeeze the juice of the 3 limes
  • Add garlic and stir
  • Chop peppers finely and add to bowl, stir vigorously
  • Add olive oil, salt, cumin and cilantro
  • Pour in a tbsp or so of the adobo sauce from the peppers
  • Mix well and let sit for 5-10 minutes
  • Place chicken breasts in a 1-gallon ziploc bag or airtight container
  • Pour marinade into bag and smush and shake to coat the meat evenly
  • Wait about 1-2 hours maximum (too long and the lime cooks the chicken)
  • Grill on medium to high heat until just done
