Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix flour, salt, seasoned pepper and old bay in a plastic, bag.
  • Coat beef in flour and spice mixture.
  • Using a Dutch oven or a stock pot, Brown beef in olive oil
  • Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 2-3 hours
  • Add additional salt and pepper to taste.
  • I removed about 3 cups of the liquid and then gradually added it back in as needed to get the right consistency, same with the flour, I mixed up some of the left over flour into a paste to thicken the stew as needed.
