Chrissys Tomato-less Sloppy Josephines

- 4-5 red peppers, seeded and cut small shopping list
- 5 cloves of garlic, peeled and crushed (not cut) shopping list
- 1 Dried chili Pod crumbled with seeds shopping list
- 1 LB ground pork (turkey, Elk, Bison) shopping list
- ½ yellow onion, minced (or more to taste) shopping list
- 1 Chopped green pepper, no seeds shopping list
- dried garlic (1 Tbsp) shopping list
- thyme (pinch) shopping list
- celery Seed (sprinkle) shopping list
- Worcestershire (1 Tbsp) shopping list
- steak seasoning (such as McCormick) (1 Tbsp) shopping list
- ¼ C brown sugar shopping list
- red wine vinegar (1/2 Tbsp) shopping list
- Fresh-ground black pepper (not too much!) shopping list
- onion powder (pinch) shopping list
- garlic salt (pinch) shopping list
- cumin (pinch) shopping list
- lemon pepper (pinch) shopping list
- chili powder (1 tsp) shopping list
How to make it
- Roast first 3 ingredients with Olive Oil (sprinkle on top) and Salt
- @ 350* for 45 minutes
- Puree with Olive Oil (1-2 Tbsp) and Water (about
- 1 C) in Food Processor
- Brown 1 LB Ground Pork (Turkey, Elk, Bison)
- Add Onion
- Add Green Pepper
- Add Seasonings
- Add Red Pepper Puree and a little more water to Browned
- Meat Mixture and simmer for 30 minutes- 1 hour
- Serve on Warmed Potato Buns
