How to make it

  • Roast first 3 ingredients with Olive Oil (sprinkle on top) and Salt
  • @ 350* for 45 minutes
  • Puree with Olive Oil (1-2 Tbsp) and Water (about
  • 1 C) in Food Processor
  • Brown 1 LB Ground Pork (Turkey, Elk, Bison)
  • Add Onion
  • Add Green Pepper
  • Add Seasonings
  • Add Red Pepper Puree and a little more water to Browned
  • Meat Mixture and simmer for 30 minutes- 1 hour
  • Serve on Warmed Potato Buns

    Looks good ! I've saved it, and will be offering it to a group of Lutheran cooks in a few weeks '-) Seriously ! We have retreat weekends, I work in the kitchen mostly, and the turkey sounds like a hit for those dudes who prefer to avoid the high fat content of ground beef - such as myself...
