How to make it

  • Preheat the oven to 350; butter the bottom and side of a 10" springform pan.
  • Combine the butter, chocolate, and coffee in a double-boiler and melt slowly, stirring, until smooth.
  • Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
  • In a separte bowl whisk the eggs and sugar.
  • Add egg mix to the cooled chocolate and whisk to combine.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 1 hour.
  • When baked, cool on a rack to room temperature.
  • Remove the side of the pan and cover with plastic wrap.
  • Refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
  • Cut into wedges and serve.
