How to make it

  • TVP Chili With Beans
  • Pressure cook 1 1/4 rinsed and sorted pinot or red kidney beans, or 2 cups rinsed canned beans
  • Soak 1 cup TVP in 7/8 cup boiling water stir well
  • Add 1/2 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp salt and stir well. let soak for 10 minutes.
  • Sauté 1 diced onion and
  • in 2 TBS oil.
  • Add TVP mixture and brown for a few minutes (stir constantly or it will stick)
  • _____________________________________________________
  • Bring to boil all other ingredients
  • Add the cooked beans and the TVP mixture to the tomato base and cook for 5 to 10 minutes.

    Now see how easy it is to post a recipe properly ;-) I bow to you lord.

    It just tickled me to see other comments posted and no one else noticed it. To me, a recipe is not just what goes in it but how it’s blended.
    I don’t do time consuming stuff. It’s hard enough for me to spend time taking photos of it before I shove it down my throat.

    I knew that 666 referred to devils. Now I know that 555 refers to gods.
