How to make it

  • Chop all vegetables to your liking (bigger chunks for chunky salsa).
  • Mix all ingredients together and bring to boil in large pot.
  • Once it starts to boil, reduce heat ,simmer for 1 hour.
  • Prepare canning jars as directed, fill jars and seal.
  • Makes about 12 pint jars.

    There are a million salsa recipes and I would like one that seems fairly easy and at least looks tasty. I am wondering as easy as this may look, does it turn out to be more like picante sauce because of the tomato paste? I still gave it 4 forks because it looks easy to do.
