Homemade Salsa Recipe
This salsa is fairly easy to make. It taste so much better than the stuff in the store.

Ingredients
  • 12 cups diced tomatoes
  • 2-12 oz. cans tomato paste
  • 2 cups chopped onion
  • 2 cups chopped jalapeno peppers
  • 2 cups chopped green peppers
  • 2 cups chopped celery
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 T salt
  • 1 tsp celery salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 32 oz. jar fo Prego spaghetti sauce

Directions
  1. Chop all vegetables to your liking (bigger chunks for chunky salsa).
  2. Mix all ingredients together and bring to boil in large pot.
  3. Once it starts to boil, reduce heat ,simmer for 1 hour.
  4. Prepare canning jars as directed, fill jars and seal.
  5. Makes about 12 pint jars.

There are a million salsa recipes and I would like one that seems fairly easy and at least looks tasty. I am wondering as easy as this may look, does it turn out to be more like picante sauce because of the tomato paste? I still gave it 4 forks because it looks easy to do.
