How to make it

  • Dissolve the yeast in warm water and set aside.
  • Position knife blade in food processor bowl, add flour,.
  • Combine sour cream, butter, sugar, salt, yeast mixture in a small bowl; stir in egg.
  • With processor running pour mixture through chute in a slow , steady stream.
  • Process until well blended (dough will be soft).
  • Place dough in a well greased bowl, turning to grease the top.
  • Cover and let rise in a warm place, free from drafts, 1 1/2 hours or until doubled in bulk.
  • Divide the dough into 2 equal portions onto a heavily floured surface, and knead 4-5 times.
  • Roll each into a 14X10 inch rectangle. Spread half of the filling over each rectangle leaving a 1/4 inch margin around the edges.
  • Roll like a jelly roll beginning at the long side. Firmly pich the edges to seal. Place rolls seam side down on prepared baking sheets.
  • Make 6 equally spaced X shaped cuts across the top of each loaf. Cover and let rise in a warm place free from drafts.1 1/2 hours or until doubled in bulk. bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes.Spread loaves with glaze while warm.
  • Filling:
  • Position knife blade in processor bowl; add all ingredients. Top with cover; process until well blended. chill 20-30 minutes.

  • Combine all ingredients, mixing well.
