Beef and Broccoli

- 2/3 lb. beef tenderloin shopping list
- 1/2 c. oil shopping list
- 2/3 lb. broccoli shopping list
- Marinade: shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon cornflour shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce shopping list
- 1/2 Tablespoon cooking wine or sherry shopping list
- 1/2 Tablespoon water shopping list
- Additional Stir-Fry Veggies: shopping list
- 6 1/2-inch green onions shopping list
- 6 slices of ginger root shopping list
- Sauce Mix: shopping list
- 3 Tablespoons water shopping list
- 1-1/2 Tablespoons oyster sauce shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce shopping list
- Splash of cooking wine or sherry shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cornflour shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar shopping list
- dash of pepper and sesame oil shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons oil shopping list
How to make it
- Cut the meat across the grain into thin pieces.
- Mix with marinade, let set for 1 hour
- Before frying, add 1 Tablespoon oil and mix.
- Cut flowerets of broccoli from stems.
- Cook in boiling water for 1 minute; remove and drain.
- Garnish the serving plate with cooked broccoli.
- Add oil and heat the wok. When the oil is hot, add meat.
- Stir-fry until the color changes and remove.
- Wipe wok clean and add 2 Tablespoons oil.
- Stir-fry Extra Stir-Fry Vegetables until fragrant.
- Add beef and Sauce Mix; toss lightly.
- Remove and serve.
