L Ossa Morte - Dead Bones Cookies

- 1 pound confectioners' sugar shopping list
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 2 1/2 teaspoons ground cloves shopping list
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten shopping list
How to make it
- Sift sugar, flour, baking powder and cloves together.
- Make a well in the center.
- Pour eggs into well.
- Work the eggs into the mixture, first with a fork and then with your fingers.
- Make a smooth dough.
- Line baking sheet with foil.
- Roll dough into 1" balls and place on sheet about 2" apart.
- Flatten each cookie with the bottom of a glass.
- Cover with a clean dish towel and let rest overnight.
- Cookies will spread.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F/175 degrees C.
- Bake about 15 minutes OR until golden.
- Remove cookies from pan immediately as they come from the oven or they will stick.
- Cool completely on wire rack.
