Turkey In Mushroom Gravy Recipe
This is our favorite for any special occasion.

Ingredients
  • 1 large turkey cut into pieces
  • 1 pouch of Knorr Mushroom soup mix
  • 10 mushrooms sliced
  • seasoning salt
  • 1 teaspoon of soy sauce( mushroom soy sauce is the best)
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 5 cups cold water

Directions
  1. Preheat oven 350F
  2. Salt each piece of turkey
  3. roast for 2hr with 2 cups of water in a covered roaster.
  4. meanwhile make the mushroom gravy
  5. on medium heat, in a large pot add 5 cups of water,soup mix , flour and soy sauce
  6. whisk it good till it's smooth
  7. stir once in a while and bring it all to a boil
  8. boil it for 5 min. and add mushrooms
  9. When turkey has roasted already take it out
  10. drain the liquid into a dish( for later use to thin the gravy if needed or for boxed turkey stuffing.)
  11. Pour mushroom gravy over the turkey and roast it again for another 2hr or to your taste.
