Maurition Prawn And Tomato Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 8 cloves of garlic
  • 1 onion
  • glass of white wine
  • 6 fresh tomatos deseeded and chopped
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • salt
  • 1 tbsp tumeric mixed into paste with water
  • a sprinkle of thyme
  • pepper
  • parsley for garnish
  • king pranws raw and devained

Directions
  1. put 2 tbsp of oil in a wok and heat up to high
  2. put half the garlic in and the onion
  3. now stir the tomatos in tothe garlic and onion
  4. pour in half the wine and season
  5. put the chilli in and stir
  6. now add the tumeric and thyme and leave to simmer into a thick sauce if it looks to thick put another splash of wine in
  7. in a seperate pan heat up the rest of the oil and stir inthe garlic
  8. now add the prawns
  9. when the prawns start to change colour add the last of the wine
  10. and cook until the wine evapourates or until the prawns are a nice pink colour
  11. now put the prawns into the the tomato sauce and mix so the prawns are coated
  12. sprinkle the parsley on top and serve with some chappatis or with rice
