maurition prawn and tomato sauce

- 4 tbsp oil shopping list
- 8 cloves of garlic shopping list
- 1 onion shopping list
- glass of white wine shopping list
- 6 fresh tomatos deseeded and chopped shopping list
- 1 tsp chilli powder shopping list
- salt shopping list
- 1 tbsp tumeric mixed into paste with water shopping list
- a sprinkle of thyme shopping list
- pepper shopping list
- parsley for garnish shopping list
- king pranws raw and devained shopping list
How to make it
- put 2 tbsp of oil in a wok and heat up to high
- put half the garlic in and the onion
- now stir the tomatos in tothe garlic and onion
- pour in half the wine and season
- put the chilli in and stir
- now add the tumeric and thyme and leave to simmer into a thick sauce if it looks to thick put another splash of wine in
- in a seperate pan heat up the rest of the oil and stir inthe garlic
- now add the prawns
- when the prawns start to change colour add the last of the wine
- and cook until the wine evapourates or until the prawns are a nice pink colour
- now put the prawns into the the tomato sauce and mix so the prawns are coated
- sprinkle the parsley on top and serve with some chappatis or with rice
