Jetts French Vanilla Cream Pound Cake

- 3 sticks butter (1 1/2 cups) at room temperature shopping list
- 3 cups sugar shopping list
- 3 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 5 eggs at room temperature shopping list
- 1 cup French vanilla flavored creamer (I used Coffee Mate) shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- Large tube cake pan shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare the cake pan by spraying non-stick spray and lightly dusting the pan with flour.
- Cut a circle of wax paper on the bottom of the cake pan for easy removal.
- Place butter in the bowl of electric mixer & cream well
- Add sugar to butter and mix until light & fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition
- Add vanilla - mix well
- Gradually add flour & creamer, ending with flour.
- Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Drop batter filled pan on counter to level out batter and eliminate air pockets in the cake.
- Bake at 350 for approx 1 hour 10 minutes.
- Don't overbake.
- Glaze with powdered sugar, vanilla & water if desired.
