Ingredients

FOR CAKE:

1 C. OIL

2 C. ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR

1 CAN APPLE PIE FILLING

1 TSP. SALT

2 TSP. CINNAMON

1 TSP. BAKING SODA

1 C. SUGAR

1 C. BROWN SUGAR

2 EGGS

FOR ICING:

1 C. SOUR CREAM

1 C. SUGAR

1 C. CHOPPED NUTS(OPTIONAL, BUT I HIGHLY RECOMMEND)

Directions

BEAT EGGS AND ADD OIL AND SUGARS

MIX IN APPLE PIE FILLING

MIX ALL OTHER DRY INGREDIENTS IN SEPERATE BOWL

ADD TO WET, MIX WELL.

BAKE IN 9X 13 PAN AT 350 FOR 60 MIN OR UNTIL DONE

WHILE CAKE IS COOLING:

CREAM TOGETHER SOUR CREAM AND SUGAR

HEAT ON MED HEAT IN SAUCEPAN UNTIL SMOOTH AND GLOSSY

POKE HOLES IN TOP OF CAKE WITH A FORK

POUR ICING OVER TOP WHILE STILL HOT

SPRINKLE WITH NUTS AND LET SET

ENJOY!!!

Oops! Sorry ppl, I looked over the recipe and realized that I did not add the 1 tsp of baking soda. Jabec, I'm so sorry if your cake did not turn out, it will not rise properly without the baking soda. My bad.....
