Ingredients

2 1/2 cups of diced peeled peaches (fresh or frozen)

1/4 cup of peach necter

4 slices brioche bread, crusts removed, cut into 1-in cubes (4 cups)

3 tblspn of unsalted butter melted

1/2 cup of goleden raisins

3 large eggs

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tsp of ground cinnamon

1 3/4 cups half-and-half

1 tsp vanilla extract

brown sugar-vanilla sauce

1/2 cup light brown sugar

2tblspn light corn syrup (recommended:karo)

4tblspn unsalted butter

1/2 heavy cream

1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

preheat the oven to 325f. lightly butter a 2 1/2 quart baking dish and set aside

in a medium saucepan over medium low heat, bring peaches and peach nectar to a simmer. cookuntil peaches are tender, about 5 min

in a large bowl, gently toss the bread, melted butter, raisins, and peaches until the bread is completely coated. in a seperate large bowl, whisk together the eggs, granulated sugar, cinamon, half and half, and 1 tsp vanilla extract. add the bread mixture and mix gently. pour into prepared dish

bake until golden brown and center is set, about 1 hr

in a small saucepan,over medium heat, combine the brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, cream, and vanilla extract. bring to boil, stirring frequently. reduce the heat to medium low and cook for 5 min stirring continually. remove from heat sauce will thicken as it cools. drizzle over the top of bread pudding and serve warm or at room temperature
