Orange Strawberry Jam Recipe
Serve this on hot, buttered, buttermilk biscuits. Yum, yum!!

Ingredients
  • 2 packages (10 oz. each) frozen strawberries, thawed
  • 1 package (1 3/4 oz.) powdered fruit pectin
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange peel
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 3 1/2 cups sugar

Directions
  1. Mix strawberries, pectin, orange peel and orange juice in saucepan until pectin is dissolved.
  2. Heat to a rolling boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Stir in sugar. Heat to rolling boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
  4. Skim off foam.
  5. Immediately pour into hot sterilized jars or freezer containers, leaving 1/2 inch headspace.
  6. Seal immediately. Cool.
  7. Refrigerate or freeze up to 3 months.
  8. Thaw before serving.
